When you enter into a maintenance contract with Grease Brothers, we visit your restaurant or kitchen at least once per month to complete an inspection of your grease traps. Once we notice the FOG depth is thicker than two inches, we will recommend a cleaning of your grease trap

The grease interceptor (also known as a grease trap) is a critical part of your kitchen that prevents used cooking fats, oils and grease (FOG) from entering the wastewater system. Having the grease interceptor is only half the battle, it needs to be properly monitored and maintained so that your facility does not create a wastewater backup as a result of
clogged lines.

When FOG bypasses your grease interceptor it can cause a lot of problems for your business: reduced plumbing flow, odours and even a sewer backup. The results can cost your business time, money and customers.

Grease Brothers provides and installs exterior and interior grease traps. Grease Brothers sells and installs baffles for your hood. Ask about our rental program where we come into your restaurant once per week and replace your baffles with clean baffles.

Note: Baffle grease filters collect grease and stop flames from penetrating into the hood exhaust duct work. It is very important that you have your baffles cleaned on a regular frequency to lower the risk of flare-ups and flames.
